Alexis Shelswell represents clients in a range of Family Law matters including parenting and children’s matters, divorce, family violence and property matters. She endeavours to deliver timely solutions to her clients as amicably as possible. Alexis approaches her work with kindness and empathy, recognising the emotional challenges of separation and guiding clients through the process with compassion.
Prior to joining Oxford Partners, Alexis regularly appeared as a solicitor advocate in the Family Division of the Children’s Court of Victoria, demonstrating her deep passion for working with young people and families. While undertaking her legal studies, Alexis gained invaluable experience in Property Law, where her responsibilities included facilitating property settlements.
Alexis graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Criminology and completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Leo Cussen Centre for Law.
