Jessica Toomey

Jessica represents clients in a range of Family Law matters including parenting and children’s matters, divorce, family violence and property matters. At Oxford Partners Lawyers, Jess is committed to delivering compassionate and effective legal solutions, drawing on her academic background and hands-on experience.

Prior to joining Oxford Partners, Jess’ legal journey commenced during her tertiary studies when she worked as a paralegal and then began practicing in Queensland. Jess regularly appeared in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and worked on a variety of family law matters.

While Jess enjoys exploring all facets of law, her interest particularly lies in complex family law issues and domestic violence matters. Her dedication to these areas extends beyond her professional endeavours. Jess is an active volunteer at the Peninsula Community Legal Centre, where she offers her legal expertise to assist with various matters.

Jess graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) with distinction. Jess completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law.

Jess is a committee member of Victorian Women’s Lawyers.
